Offshore Drilling Won't Help, But "Green Stimulus" Can

huffingtonpost.com — Senator McCain's proposal to "drill more in America and rescue our family budgetsŎ — that is, to open up environmentally sensitive offshore areas to oil drilling — would take about a decade to produce any oil. That's according to the Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy. A "green stimulus" package, however, would give the economy a lift while simultaneously reducing energy consumption.
